Not Perfect

I'm not brave enough to know that it'll all be fine

I need constant reassurance that tomorrow I'll still be okay

And sometimes I ask too much of you

And want you around all the time

But it's only because you are the only one that can make it all better

You pick me up when I fall and hold me close when I'm hurting

No, I'm not okay

Or courageous

Or confident

But you make me feel like some day I could be

And I thank you for that
