Droop

Droop

A Poem by Anonymous
"

When you are lost, when your heart is empty, and the only place left is ....

"
Her eyes hold nothing
Her hands are drooping
Left in her right pocket
are plans to deposit

Her last playlot, her body
is weak, she falls to
her knee's. Help. Ambulance.
Bright red lights, sirens

Stop the names, stop
the decade, stop the feints
Stop me from me.
Stop.

Tell me, everything is as
it seems. No more dreams
No more needs, no more
no more.

Turn to dust.
May the wind take you
To were you where meant to be.

Feedback please! Should I do this in past tense rather then present? Or do you feel it is better as present tense? Also stanzas three and four should they be switched?

Has the sound of a suicidal emergency. Someone has apparently called 911, for the ambulance is arriving, but the impression is that the speaker wishes the EMT's had not come. Depression is one hellish disease.
