A Poem by MoonChildPoetry

There's something calming about being parked next to the ocean alone at night,
nothing but the sound of trickling water and the idle of your engine.
It puts your mind in a state of peace.
No more chaos.
Just quiet.
You can inhale each breath of your cigarette deeply and embrace the zen it brings as it hits the bottom of your lungs.
Just think about this moment, and this moment only.
Let all else fade away to the darkest part of your mind.
Bottle it there and don't let it escape ever again.
You have moved on from the darkness your past has provided you.
You are not that person anymore.
The solution is that easy.

I have just moved away from the beach and this makes me miss it so much. You really have put into words what it is like to just sit there and watch the ocean. This is really great.
