Here is the scene.

You're in a ravine

The current is flowing;

In the direction you not going.

So whats the beat; 

If you don't know your feat.

A challenge is what you need,

But faith in God will cause you to succeed.

Not looks or only books;

No riders, no thinkers, nor crooks,

Only the man , the woman, the you inside.

With hard work for progress: if you abide.

So where ever you are at,

Clamp your tongue..

Look not up nor down;

Your good will be your crown-

Because attitude is every thing.

I like the rhyming in this poem, it works really well. And the line "because attitude is every thing" I think is really important as it will get you where you want to be in life, I like the message, great poem :)

Thanks Emily for the comment. It was a ten min. construction .I was ask to make a poetic presentation to a group of 60 people, they were students- all adulds
