Among the assembled dead--

A cacophony of stones

I have such a vivid picture in my mind, but - in turn. have to turn it upside down and focus on what's been suggested, carried into the present. Those dead, wept over by dark garbed creatures, raucous in their grief. Three short lines loaded with meaning, each to his or her own interpretation.

Me, too, Frank...Thanks. By the way, may I keep "Metamorphic" on file for a feature down the road?

Depicted the morning in cemetery in a great poetic way.

Matisse could draw the perfect portrait in three lines. You have a similar incredible skill.

I like your poem very much because I admire the ability to paint a story in such words, much like W.C Williams and Ezra Pound.

"among the assembled dead-"

wow what a line...and what a thought "a cacophony of stones"

the dead speak and sing loud and clear...sometimes we just fail to hear them...but there is as story to tell...the crows try to remind us...but we just don't pay attention.
