A way to break the ice

As my eyes shifted from the horizon ,
the horizon became blur,
focus was shifted to her eyes,
blue , like the deep ocean,
a bit cold, I remember it.

I wasn’t brave, back and forth .

I never knew why, but the eyes never lie,
they speak from the heart,
silently , but if you listen carefully,
you may hear a silent voice.

It’s a calling, it’s a temple of wisdom,
shines only when you cling closer,
then you hear it, beautiful harmonies,
yet sometimes deadly stories.

The blue eyes that I was watching ,
spoke of sadness and misery,
delivered a chilling moment,
I knew there is more to it,
so I asked,
“why are you sad ?”
