A Poem about a Beautiful Pirate!

Gypsy Rose

Her name was Gypsy Rose
A young woman looking for adventure on the high seas
She was a pirate queen
So sexy and just a little mean
She has been caught for her transgressions
See the shackles on her wrists
But she knows her lover
Captain Black will come for her and set her free
And as she looks to the sea
She sees his ship and her heart fills with glee
He is coming for her and she smiles
There is a row boat coming for her
Guns blazing she attacks her guard
She takes the key and unshackles herself
She grabs his gun and while under fire
She jumps into the row boat
And then the cannons fire
As she boards the ship she is reunited with her lover
They embrace and kiss
As he tells the crew to get underway
They make their escape
To cause havoc on the high seas together once more

I was just reading about pirates the other night. A woman pirate is different and a bit refreshing for a change so kudos for that. A likable poem. There's also a band called Cinderella that did one called Gypsy Rose. I was listening to them tonight funny enough. :)
