Quop

Quop

A Poem by Mrudula Rani
"

Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf - Robindranath Tagore

"
Sentience, assuasive motion in span and station
Evinces at incipiency to the ubiquitous meter of passion,
For universe wast by the dance of lord god, Shiva
and perdures in the cosmos the ever lasting rhythm.

Lofty nascencies and termini of wiles enwrapped in rhythm.
Nem con all waltz fecklessly to the haps of per diem,
promulgating emotions through kinesics,
Cadence of motility yaw in accordance to aria of exactions.
Byzantine coup of banality coeval expressions...
connate Bharatanatyam; decked up in costume,
or samba barely clad to express sultry spirit,
Inordinate pursuance to meet the milepost.
Fitfully join the rabble, prepensely or flukily for a tango
Unoften it's a hormoneous union: a ballroom farce,
anon friction, a riot.

Arrant ascendency orates measure and meter,
for motion is imitable to Incarnate.
In biota entities move in a rhythm,
the venatics, courtships;
Cadent, blithe dances to wrest arete.

I kept getting the notification that you were editing this one on my feed, but every time I looked it wasn’t published. Glad to see it’s finally made its debut!

I can see the intricacies of your scientific mind dancing in this one. Your fascination with scientific concepts and how they parallel with our lives plays out in a lively dance on the page.

The unusual vocabulary you’ve shared adds to that effect for me because it creates space for me as a reader to stop and learn while reading and to move back and forth between observation and activity. It’s an interesting dynamic.

As I’ve said before, I enjoy learning on your page. This poem feels like the dance of life itself. All-encompassing. The rhythms that we move in and out of on our journey. And of course there’s the joy and curiosity. Lovely to read your work, as ever, Mrudula.

And I love seeing your artwork as well.

Thank you dear Robert. Obrigada de coração. Uma abraço querido.
how do you find these words Doc?! "Quop" ..to throb ... i have one of the best new words of the day i have ever had ... ;)
my goodness .. as always a linguistic salad .. healthy and surprising .. the dance, the love wacky love, some science and deeper theology .. and what else could there be in the sometimes chaos of romancing ... needed my dictionary even more than i expected my friend ;}

you are so welcome.. and thank you
I got the feel here Mrudula that I was learning the dance of life with its varying rhythms and practicing the steps to the best of my ability. From a slow waltz to the samba and then the tango. All quite varued dances reflecting the different stages of love and life. You always keep your readers on their toes with your use of language dear poet. When I visit your page I learn, as well as being entertained. I thank you for that. At my time of life I need to keep my brain active.
