Life Is

Life is like
A baseball diamond
You run all over the place just to get a home run
But just because you score
Doesn't mean you'll win
 
Life is like
A seasaw
There are so many ups, and so many downs
But just because you're up
Doesn't mean you won't fall on your a*s
 
Life is like
The sun
You only appreciate it once in a while
The following day it'll be raining
It'll still be there but you just won't see it
 
Life is like
A bungee cord
It promises to take you down
Never guaranteeing a return
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't take a chance
 
My life is like
A bird
I've dodged a few bullets here & there
The firing won't cease anytime soon
But I'm already flying against the wind

Mmmm...you captured your message well...which, from your "About," I assume this is what you try to do? It's nice...
Many different examples, as to create a more relatable atmosphere. Stanzas are split to the best ability to have the movement flow smoothly. Again I say -- nice. I enjoyed. First piece that I've read from you. I will enjoy reading more.
