There is little to be said at times like these...all the clichés...they're in a better place...their pain is over...don't ease the loss...in time the ache will lift and the tears will tend more toward smiles.
They'll always be with you...even when you think they're not...they're there, in your thoughts and in your heart.

I talk to him out loud, as though he were here. I asked him to give me a sign that he was alright and not in any pain...to let me know he knew I loved him. I've had 3 signs in the 2 weeks he's been gone that have pretty much turned me around. Perhaps the best way we can honor their memory is to go on and live our life in a way that would make them proud. I appreciate the warmth of your words. Thank you, Ted!
