Good to see you back Kelly. That has got to be whole milk with those Oreos ... no skim or 1% otherwise you've wasted a good cookie.
Haven't dunked my cookie in quite some time ... just twist the cap off, lick the icing off and chomp down.

Not a fan of the double stuff, though. It's funny, there are so many Oreo varieties out there now. I like the golden ones, too. Thanks so much, Ted. Good seeing familiar faces!

You know back when I was a kid, you know, before electricity and stuff, I always poured way more milk than I needed for my bowl of Cap'n Crunch cereal. Why did I do that, you might ask? Well, after scarfing down the cereal I would pour my leftover milk into a coffee mug and then . . . and then . . . (building suspense here, bear with me!) would dip my Oreo's into that sugary sweetened mug of milk! Well, anyway . . .

Lol, ok, now I'm in familiar territory. My brother ate Cap'n Crunch ALL the time...I preferred the chocolate chip, but had to quit cause they were too sweet, and I'm sweet enough! ; ) Did you pull them apart and lick their inner goodness, too? Lol.

brady was a staple of the pats so no one could ever replace him and things will never be the same. newton is an interesting character, we shall see what he can do. 1-1 so far. lost to the seahawks (pete carroll's team and former pats coach) sunday. now on to more important things - where the heck did i leave those double stuff oreos ... :)

I was delighted to see something from you again in my newsfeed! Hope you'll be back a while! This is a great poem & everyone reads these things differently (is required 2 or 3 syllables?) but for me, the word "is" could be omitted in the middle line due to an extra syllable? I love how the last line makes the reader ponder how likely to share he/she might be (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

It's a senryu, so I needed the "is" to make the line 7 syllables. I know I could have done it your way, though. Thanks, Margie!

i am fine .. thank you so much for asking .. the covid crap has not affected my life much at all .. already a life long introvert and now retired in my lovely old mountains i have little desire to sally forth anyway ... the CA fires have not blown their soot and smoke my way .. and this morning .. i remain breathing, alive and feeling kind of perky :))))))))))))))))))) and you dear Legs? i have to say again .. happy you are back!
