ODE TO BROS

ODE TO BROS

A Poem by M.Babu
"

"Inseparable those two!"

"

I was never far behind,

When he chose to play.

I'd force my hands into

His own.

He'd smile and

lead the way,

Always two steps ahead,

With a permanent expression.

A ready smile for all

We passed,

On various adventures.

His sweet tooth was

Insatiable,

But he'd always break in

Two.

The chocolate bars

He bought and stashed,

Under floorboards in his

Room.

He never once complained,

When he had to cancel

Plans.

Even if it meant to sit

and Teach me

Element'ry math.

He was far from perfect,

This I know,
I’d known him all my

Life.

I’ll remember though,

Despite the thunder,

His snore,
Served as my

Lullaby.
