World Order

Expressing my frustrations!

There's a reason why flowers grow toward the sun,

and why birds don't fall to the ground.

     There's a world order,

     And we must follow it.

There is a reson why our kids 

could get the same diseases that have sucked away our sanities,

as well as our greed and materialism - but those things aren't as curable are they?

     There's a world order,

     And we must follow it.

 

There are reasons why lying to someone

can be right and wrong at the same time,

reaosns why ganging up on the ones we love

can be such a riot,

reasons why stealing can be illegal

and necessary at the same time.

     There's a world order,

     And we must follow it.

 

I know there is a reason why things have to change,

why the stars have to realign,

why the banks have to be bailed out,

why negativity has to be tolerated,

why hippocrits get to roam the earth on golden gondalas,

why cows have to be carried away in tornadoes,

why my backpack has to get ten times lighter in a matter of days,

why you have to go away.

 

    Because there is a world order,

    and we must follow it.
