Is Not Me

When you look in a mirror,
You're supposed to see your reflection.
But when I look into the mirror...
All I see is a huge objection!

I look at the mirror,
At the person that I see,
There's no way that person in the mirror,
There's no way that person is me!

That can't be me,
Is this some kind of cruel joke?
For the ability to be seen...
Is a right I'm about to revoke!

That is not what
I want people to see,
Because I'm telling you...
That person is not ME!!!

I look so different,
What is going on here?
That is not me,
Am I making that clear?

I have avoided looking into
Any mirrors for many years,
And now that I've decided to finally look...
My eyes are filled with countless salty tears!

It is so sad,
What has happened to me,
I will have to work very hard
To change that person that I see!
