Dying on the Inside (poem)

Dying on the Inside (poem)

A Poem by Rdotinc.

Dying on the inside because I know she doesn't feel the same way.
Each day becomes even more of a struggle to keep my demons at bay.
My ears are bleeding from their howling desires of violent lust.
Forcing my hands toward the door, an insatiable rush.
The taste on her lips I've imagined for hours upon years.
The caress of her frame, dirty, unwanted, covered in tears.
I'm a sinner, I know, and the Saints are nowhere in sight.
This pain, this anguish, this vile longing deserves no delight.
I'm dying on the inside and the outside is soon to follow.
For my pride is stronger than my flesh, which is cracked and hollow.

Wow, I think this poem is powerful. It has strong, graphic imagery and a good flow.
Good job! =)
