Chapter 1-The birth

Chapter 1-The birth

A Poem by Swati Nayak

Still silent motionless is the ambience,

Neither  the green leaf  nor its shiny veins

Dare to make a sound,

Because  on its soft tender green lap

Dotted with pearls of heaven

Rests  a dozen of spheres of life

Containing  timid sensitive molecules

Combined luckily …impatient to sense the great beyond

Which they shall gladly call home.

A sudden quake shivers the foliage

And effuses into the atmosphere

A sphere of life cracks  through

Which  the larva within peers out.

The sun welcomes a new child of the earth with a golden blessing

And soon the newborn  is out of the shell

Ready to start earthly life…

Did studied about butterfly cycles in childhood... But the impression I had about this poem was that of a Early morning after rain and there comes the bright sunlight after long time.... Refreshing!
