Family

Like a statue, a family is always there for each other, no matter how cold

Tall and proud, stiffly upright, confident

like men at arms, alert, calm and dignified

awaiting their command, honorably 

day in and day out, always there, watching.

Arms of stone ready to shield, to protect

strong legs of stones aiding and supporting

heads, hearts and hands stead fast, enduring

always there for each other when needed.

Long swords and cold armor protects them

steadfast warriors, standing atop fountains

gilded treasures to glorify their home

night and day alone among the crowd, together

Though they stone cold, beneath their armor

they're together, always in love.
