Changes

Something marvolous has happened to me.
It started out borderline tragedy.
From the ashes of the death of what had to be,
Swirled this light that encompassed me.

Dispelling my fears proved an easy feat,
The light was pure and shone deep.
Half a decade of lies vanished, gone.
All when I heard his voice, his song.

You gave me strength to fight.
Determined my thinking was not right.
I DID deserve better than this.
You made me feel alive with a passionate kiss.

Your hand in my own, perfection.
There is nothing about you needing correction.
You showed me that you are real.
Man of my dreams, the real deal.

You and I weren't a 'meeting'
We were 'reunited' as we were sleeping.
Two souls converge into one.
Can't steal my heart, you already won.
