Brian Is Gone

Brian Is Gone

A Poem by Deanna
"

A short poem about the death of my nephew.

"

Brian is gone, died, just like that.

Died in a car wreck.

Broke some young bones.

And bled slowly to death.

Asleep and cold now.

His tattoos, piercings, and blond buzzed hair fading away.

Brian is gone, died, just like that.
