MY WORDS HAVE ESCAPED ME

MY WORDS HAVE ESCAPED ME

A Poem by NANCY MCCORMACK

my words have escaped me,,

what I said
has escaped
no copies
exist
carbon
engraves
the fine line
I wish to
draw
upon your
skin
from eye
to temple
cheek
and brings
your lips
to mine.

A amazing poem. I like the artwork when people write poetry/words to skin. A odd beauty to seeing words upon skin. In so few words you create visions of touch, need and want. We can't stop the words when they fall into thoughts than to paper. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry, my friend.
