Words can hurt
silence is worse
I can't shake this damned
helpless curse
I am rarely selfish
But sometimes
you have to protect your own
I don't mean to embellish
But sometimes
you need to protect your home
The lioness is powerless
If her courage is silenced
And the making of her nothing less
Of the becoming voidance
Lack of violence
A mind f**k of instability
Cascading like colours
through her thoughts
Feeling ever more tortured
They thought she could be bought
Words are powerful
Unspoken ones deadly yet
And I offer my own sympathy
Through the noise
I never heard to now forget x
