Grow one again

Grow one again

A Poem by NebraskaHope
"

Never hold onto a broken heart, its like holding the pain without the joy,

"
Dont count me out before knowing what I add up to,
so much confusion when we know snakes bring poison
but in the palm of my hands is love
white plus A dove is me, purity in the sand,
dont let dust in the wind blind you,
let nothing, not anyone keep you from moving on,
whats broke should be left and obtain A new one,
thats the thing, we tape - try to superglue our hearts,
when it is a tree, let leaves go and branches fall
let our veins grow, let the branches grow again,
dont remind me of what he did, how he left the dirt,
wheres the broom, seems we have spring cleaning to do,
be strong and never down, watch who stabs my back
for I am brave, always looking up even in my grave
For tears evaporate, but the pain, the memories
we have to live with, but vcr's are old
we dont have to watch them,
dont forget who you are in the black and white
be like a pyramid, we are all shades of brown
some mixed and white and so on,
but never let him be a slave of your heart
we are trees, let leaves go and branches fall
let our veins grow, let the branches grow again,
give that brokened heart away and grow a new one again,
I say, just grow one again and let the old one die

Oh there is much truth in this poem. Much truth! Thanks for sharing. It was heartfelt and well constructed.
