Apocalypse!

Protect Earth to Survive.

I am out of breath now. The air is choking. It feels like we have no escape.

I pause for breath. Breath? I inhale in a whole lot of chemicals. My lungs are really tired of purifying the poison I take in.

My eyes run down to check the speeding time. Fifteen minutes left.

Fifteen minutes to the apocalypse.

Unless I can stop it. All I need is to find the sign. The sign of hope. The sign of Life.

I am near. I can win. I drag myself forward with these mantras.

I reach a clearing. A clearing made my dilapidated buildings and metal structures.

I see the sign above a patch of raggedy Earth. The sign of salvation.

Two minutes more. I run with all my energy but stop abruptly. The leaves are drooping and the sapling is no more. The sign is no more.

The End’s come.

With the USA pulling out of the Paris Accord this is a great warning that we still need to be responsible for the health and car of the environment. Nightmarish but a true possibility, let us hope others read and take to heart the message within your warning. Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!
