Beyond Me...

“I am gonna kill you!”

He snarled.

But I didn’t care.

It’s what Lovers say.

When they get pissed off.

 

“Uh- huh? Kill me then!”

I retorted back.

I expected it to be a rhetorical challenge.

He won’t have the guts to do it.

He loves me!

 

The next moment a gory knife ripped apart my Heart.

I saw his bloody eyes staring into my lifeless ones.

 

A rhetoric gone too far.

Beyond my reach.

Beyond me.
