Love betrayed her

Leaving her to lurch

In a lonely world.

 

Alas she met him

Who promised her

To end her solitude forever.

Giving in to death itself......anything is sometimes better than loneliness.

Solitude can exist in both life and death; impermanent in life depending on the strength of the heart. For to open it to another turns solitude into companionship.

We may feel death is an option, but it is not so.
I do not support what I wrote in this poem.
I penned this poem trying to express what a depressed person feels like.
