Can I be someone 

No one requires of?

Can I shine rather

for myself now?

When everything is bound

To tear apart,

Can I now

hold onto my peices of 

Torn up parts?

Don't mistake

I'm not trying to be selfish.

I'm just trying to hold

Tight this time

At some stage in ones life we make either a conscious or unconscious or semi conscious decision to put ourselves at near or at top of priority list
I didn’t until my kids long left the nest
A few years ago. Life is short.
