What Love is Like.

What Love is Like.

A Poem by Sleepless Dreamer
"

I wrote this for a school project a year ago, just posting this on here.

"

Love like a burning flame.

The flame burns like a branding bar

leaving an imprint on the skin.

I want to run away with you in a speeding car.

The story continues as times get hard

you stand by me though you’re miles away.

I long for the moment with your lips on mine

I wish I could be in your arms night and day.

You remind me of hope and love,

you remind me of strength,

you remind me of power in which I forgot,

you remind me of love being more than a simple wavelength.

It’s more than physical and chemical

deeper than the depths of Tartarus.

A word of representation

something I must write on papyrus.
