Great and proud howls the wind

Great and proud howls the wind

A Poem by Nerio

An exercise of style in English poetry. Please, feel free to let me know your critic opinion

Great and proud howls the wind!
No human god could louder sing,
no mortal soul might ever lean
over such mighty heavens unseen.

So desperately we live and die
for a touch of that remote sky,
a piece of hope, a pleasant lie,
Anything that could push us high.

Into the mud we strive and scream,
fighting for glories or noble dreams,
in the end going down the same stream
of tears and blood, no pain to redeem.

And yet indifferent to all comes the wind!
No bright angel could merryer sing,
no human hand might ever bring
such sweet peace to our bitter scene

I think that howling into the wind releases and brings great strength and surrender. I like this as it reminds me not to be so human. Thank you for the share and the reminder.

ps. Is it merrier?

Real art is an act of rebellion. Against the current artistic taste. Agains society. Against the author himself/herself. The rest is just propaganda. I don't know if I'm an artist, but I try m.. more..
