Thank You for My Dream

You see this

You did this

You made this happen

 

The odd thing is

You weren’t around

When it happened

 

You believed in me

Gave me support

You still do

 

It was you

Who put this

In my head

 

It was you

Who made me believe

I could do this

 

And here I am

Building it

Doing it

Living it

 

I could never

Thank you enough

For your faith in me

 

You believed

In my dream

And supported it

 

You gave me

What I needed

To take the first step

 

Now

Its’ happening

I may get my dream

 

Thank you

                But those words

                Just don’t seem enough
