Sun Shy

Sun Shy

A Poem by Neville
"

Blackpool a very, very, very long time ago ..

"

Sun Shy

She was sun shy

She was parasolled

She was whiter than milk

He wasn’t handsome

But he was loaded and

They’d both had a drink

He waved at her

She smiled back at him

Then gave a nod and a wink

Within moments

They'd been for a wander and

He had tickled her pink ….

Blackpool eh? Only ever been there once, that was enough. In fact when my muse goes missing I always say she's gone there on holiday. This is a very cheeky, fun filled poem about yoof. Tickled me too how she could hide from the sun yet go for a romp in the hay with a stranger :)) Those were the days. Mind you a few bacardi and cokes and the heat can certainly reach certain parts of the anatomy normally kept undercover. Memories should be filled with incidents like this which make us smile in later years:))

Ahh, Blackpool rock, the tower and the golden mile....Happy memories of the Glasgow fair pilgrimage, where Scotland relocates there for a fortnight and young boys meet young girls, escaping from sitting in the winter gardens ballroom with parents, and a lovely yorkshire lass called Alice blew my... Err, mind, by doing what all horny teens do and face-clamp each other for two weeks.
Bahh, the memories. Living off ice cream, candy floss and fish and chips, and loving every minute.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go think about the lovely Alice 😀

Phew! That was real, fast action sir! They lost no time at all. In times of speed, no surprises and if both parties are keen, why not! Fantastic!

Sent the pulse racing! ;)
Sometimes that little drink can offer a touch of courage.
Sweet connection made here. I suspect hearts fluttered.

Let's just say, I dont think she was on the blackcurrant Ribena ... Cheers Ana :)
This is pure awesomeness, as far as sketching a few outlines to give us a fulsome picture that pricks our imaginations with even possibilities. The way you describe pale skin takes this to another level, as far as originality! (((EMBERS))) Fondly, Margie
