Then I skipped a bead and suddenly

Arrived at the conclusion, I now spend far too long

On these old temple steps, dreaming of your little harbour ..

This is deeply beautiful... always when it's unexpected our awaking moment comes, and always unexpectedly we are surprised by the universe, in good or "bad" way. and here at your breathtaking ending lines, I feel lost love and regret, a sudden realization that when you were supposed to do a certain thing You were doing another one, I feel being a victim of time, something out of hands. I don't know but these lines touch me real inside.

This is so sad...her shawl rearranged, he watches her in his dreams.
She is gone and the water is really cold in the harbor.
there are warm tones in the memory of a lost love one, but are they really strong enough to warm us?

A moment of awakening, when everything seems lucid. I felt a shiver. I felt loss here. I also tasted salt. You were by the sea, harbours are fascinating places. You know Neville, I read these lines again, twice today slowly, and have to say I felt truly enlightened. You know it felt personal. West Bay and dancing boats or Brixham, it was well worth the outing. Definitely a win win I'd say. Touched, I was. I have an outing today....to the dentist :))
