This is poetry Neville. You led the reader into real thoughts, wonder and possibilities. I liked how you set-up the ending. We do imagine everything first before jumping into the fire of change. Thank you my friend for sharing the outstanding poetry.

Love can be a double-edged sword... especially if three people are somehow involved! Sad to say I've been there myself, in the distant past! When the one you love can't seem to decide which man she really wants, and you become aware of this, from either her mouth or his, it can be devastating! Such things rarely end well! A poignant poetic piece, and one I can certainly relate to!
So forgiving of her where a likely infidelity is concerned, yet I detest the boldness of the he here in this love triangle. He didn't keep it to himself did he? Nothing inconsequential about these ponderings, I felt an ache in the heart of the poet. It runs deep. There is no sugar coating here.

I imagine they are more consequential than the title suggests. I sense suspicion here, maybe even bitterness. One gets the impression the addressee was more than a little gregarious.

thanks for taking a peek John .. muchly appreciated :)
what a sad, achingly sweet ode to infidelity. They say what doesn't break you, makes you stronger. This poem my friend would seem proof of that
