Two very similar versions of the same, with the exception of want/need and our/this. Suffering abuse in a relationship is the pits. Who wouldn’t want to find a safe haven for a bit of peace and understanding after the toxicity. It would be sorely tempting. Secret though? Think I’d do a runner. especially in a dark place. Keep it light and in the open or not at all :) These two stanzas can be read in several different ways I think and my mind doesn’t always work the way others might. Good morning Neville.
