I am all dried up

Lost for words and so tongue tied

Not good for an old poet

Hi Neville,
Your author’s note convinced me this is a low point. I think we never run out of words, we just run out of faith in them. The poet is stifled bit by bit...by life and it’s myriad of players.

This is where the word' Old' comes in. When you get there you become an 'old' everything capable of now't! You get blamed for everything, exercising Ageism among other derogitory tags! Nice one Cyril or is it Ben? Have I fallen into the trap?

I'm not a fan of isms, or itis'is but every now and then, there may be no alternatives.. ives are far more acceptable... cheers kitty... :)

cheers mate, when this little scribble was first writ.. I was in the midst of the deepest, darkest white out I have ever had.. I knew many of my peers suffered similarly but never imagined it could be so bad.. fortunately summat clicked and bingo .. the Great American Sentence was formed with an English accent and true...
