As law enforcement officer, firearms instructor and longtime shooter, I appreciate the "ricochet" reference in its most literal form. I also have enough life experience to see the metaphorical value here, the desperation that often drives a lonely soul to place him/herself in the most vulnerable position, not realizing the deadly consequences of exposing the heart again to such trauma. That's my take on this one.

This is like an echo Neville, but not a soft one that comes sweetly. More like the ricochet of machine gun fire, and that is deadly. Short piece, very meaningful and well written.
Someone to avoid then methinks my friend.............takes no prisoners that kinda gal.......... good read as always - -- and true. .................. Fay
