Missed Conceptions

Missed Conceptions

A Poem by Neville
"

am spending too long on my own in darkened rooms

"

Missed Conceptions

Am I the only one

Around here who

Wonders

What happens

To all those spent

Sperms we guys shed

Tell me when they

Cease to wriggle

Are they merely

Missed conceptions

In my head or

Something else instead

And those that came

Too early did they

Really miss the boat

Or are they merely

Pre-conceptions and

What would it take to

Keep each one of them afloat

These lines made me smile Neville. I wrote a poem once wondering what happened to all those kisses in a failed relationship. I imagined them floating in space. Sort of romantic, at least I thought so. I find it amusing to think of those lost sperm. The ones that didn't hit the target or died on the journey, or got lost before they even started. What a mind you have. You travel to places, I don't go :))

We all need a bit of laughter and something simple from it to time. This was done very well.

................... cheers :)
This is the penile version of being anally retentive! We can cut the guys some slack, since they've been over-obsessed about sperm since they first scrambled to hide the evidence of jacking off, not to mention all those teenage years of paranoia, wondering if one might've slipped by to create an obligation conception. You need something else to do with your hands *heh! heh! heh!* Fondly, Margie

Hmmm. No, probably not. One's DNA in millions of tiny mysteries - flushed, washed away - love your conception here

Ha - never confronted these questions before Nev. and now wonder why reproduction has appeared fun ! Poor little victims those myriads who sink - yet though missing the mark controls population methinks those spent wrigglers must depart with a grin. - -Thanks and am still smilin' at your unique wit....... x

thanking thee dear Fay and true... :)
Well Nev, I'm glad you asked...
every missed conception is sacred
Every conception is great
If conceptions get wasted,
God gets quite irate
all conception is wanted
Every sperm is good
Every sperm is needed
In your neighborhood
LOL only you Nev, only you:)
