Perspicuously

Perspicuously

A Poem by Neville

Perspicuously

He never

Had

Seen

It seems

So plain or

Clear

So clean

Nor bright

He smiled

Away

A final tear

Then

Calmly

He did step

Into

Both air and light

This could probably be the future generations in a dystopia, finally walking out of the house into light and fresh air of the pristine world.
Since it's open to other interpretations, the way Chris ma'am pointed out, it also makes me think of the hikikomori of Japan finally stepping out of their homes.

And that is about as clear as can be, and no mistake guvnor! Which i reckon we could all do with a bit more of in these darkened days of fake news and fake presidents.

You need a mallet! I have same problem with logging out!
upon death, we find wisdom as our last act of contrition, and realization.
I like all the room you left for us in between the lines of this elegant piece.

tis those spaces between the lines where most is left to be found … cheers Jacob sir.. N.
your circuitous perspicuosity is now entered into webster's dictionary and its gonna turn some heads... completely around! death? freedom for quarantine? freedom from darkness? freedom from intelectual bondage? I suppose all of it, the freedoms to________ apply but in the end it is all just as beautiful

how very kind... thank you my friend :)
gosh, so deep and profound.
i am interpreting of course but it seems to me like the truth revealed, the secrets of the universal if you will, as we cross the threshold into the after life. On the other hand it could just be a reflection of the times. :) and it would work just as well any number of ways. which makes it a pretty decent poem.

fine here too :)
An epiphany, a realisation of what always was or what always wasn’t and the switching on of a bright light. It’s actually an awesome feeling. An unshackling, a release, an exhale moment and therein to a more enlightened state. Greatly exhilarating words sir!

This to me is of a passing. Stepping from this troubled plane into the next life. Seems like someone has achieved enlightenment. Other meanings too Neville, but I am fed up at the moment with our restricted freedom, so I will focus on the opposite. Your work is often open to interpretation, which makes it even more appealing. Your lines mean different things to different readers that is why it is so enjoyable. Happy Saturday.
