A mirror

Just in case ..

It seems,

Except the time

You need

To ease your ego, safely out of immaturity

……………………. And that, is far beyond my giving …

There are some things that people have to gift themselves. Good sense and maturity being one of them. One can do only so much despite of all the love in the world. You gotta leave them alone with all those pretty gifts (and space is the best gift we can give them) and let them figure it out, in whatever time it takes. One can't think for another, after all. I love the wisdom in these lines.

This dame appears to have the world revolving round her.. Much like a child who has been spoiled by over indulgent parents. The darling in this case is loved despite her flaws, but the author is still going to let her know what they are. The final line should be a real wake up call. It stung much like a slap across an invisible cheek. Wisdom comes with age in most cases.
