Jaded

Jaded

A Poem by Nichole Juliet Hemstock
"

I was mad, and this was about someone who is so jaded that all they do all day is judge other people, and from my eyes, how their situation will end.

"
Jaded
Ignorant and elated
Seeing through closed blinds
Seeing through shut eyes
Embarking on a world of adventure
Never knowing the true danger
A life that's one big cliff-hanger

Jaded
Unknowing and faded
Missing out on life
Too busy judging others wrongs or rights
Never reading in between the lines

Jaded
A story soon to be ended
A story unwillingly surrendered
