Just the Ordinary

Just the Ordinary

A Poem by Nicole Archer

Wake up in the morning,

Shake out my hair.

Where the hell are my jeans?

What the hell am I going to wear?

Grab my skateboard,

And coast in the street.

Say “Wassup” to the boys.

Get something sweet to eat.

Chill down at Rascals

Play some guitar.

When it’s almost two o’clock,

I race to my mom’s car.

 Work up until nine,

Back with the boys at ten.

Wake up in the morning,

And do it all again.
