I wish..

i was born on a mountain

In your neighbourhood

We had met as toddlers..

playing in a crib together..

bonding for the lifetime..

I wish 

we were raised together

as the best of freinds

hiding our toys in each others backyards..

painting my blue fence pink..

Trimming your hedges in figures

Just because we enjoyed doing that..

i wish 

we grew up together

falling in love..

picking flowers from our gardens

Giving them to each other every night

before spending our evenings 

Cuddling in freezing cold 

Wrapped in my croatia shawl

until the sun dipped in mountains.

I wish 

we ended up together

Saying our vows on the aisle

Around the same pink fence now

I wear the flowers in my hair

that you picked from my garden 

You sporting the red lily on your tuxedo

That we planted when we first found out

We only existed with each other.
