HIDDEN PASSION

This is my first entry here at writerscafe... Not like all poems, It doesn't really rhyme. But I made sure that the words are very mature and pleasant.

I'll stay as I am when no one is looking

Everyone may think I'm always like this

But inside me there is a passion

To show the feelings

That are flaming and burning

That are intense and are inside me

I'll look for a room

Where I can be all alone

Then I'll enjoy the time I have

I'll let out all of my feelings

I'll shout, I'll sing as loud as I can

But I'll make sure that passion stays hidden

Some say that I'm just a child

But I know they're wrong

Inside me, I'm much more than that

They can talk all they want

I know that I'm more mature than them

Honestly, they are the child... not me

I'll go away, far away

Somewhere dark and cold

I'll let out what I feel, anger,sadness and grief

Maybe I'll write a few words on paper

That always makes me feel better

Afterwards, I'll lie down

Once again, I released my passion

Maybe I'm not perfect, so what?

I don't really care

They're a gem, I'm a rock

They're shiny and pretty all throughout

I'm hard, rough and can't easily be broken

But as long as I have my passion and soul

I'll stay alive

I'll stay at the back, I always do

Staying in the shadows is what i do best

Hiding my passion to let my feelings out

Is not an easy task

I'll always get hurt

But I know I'll endure that pain

To keep the passion inside me

To be on top of those who hurt me

Be hidden for all eternity

It was really good & rocks are way better than gems anyway, they endure even in the harsh loneliness of life. We all have a bit of passion inside even if it's hidden somewhere deep within. Thanks for sharing your feelings, I can relate:)
