Give Myself Reason

Sparked by a dark time of resentment in my life, I pour out my emotions. (10/24/2014)

When you have nothing to live for

As life passes you by.

You get lonely at night

And ask yourself why?

Is it the way I look?

Is it the way I smile?

I do not know why I feel this way,

But I have felt like this for a while.

These moments hit me so hard,

Full of mixed emotion.

I want to go away.

Thoughts of permanent remotion.

I want to be important to someone

And give myself reason.

Someone to take me from this pain

And lift me up each and every season.

Author's Note

I am no English Scholar, but I just want to post my poetry out there for others who feel like they wouldn't want someone to read there poetry. This was in the past by the way, I am fine.
