Beauty and Grace

Beauty and Grace

A Poem by Niki Disaster
"

I wrote this about 4 years ago. Found it today. Interesting display of progression.

"

Darkness through the sky

With a moon so white

Graceful cries

I want to die

Hold it in

In spite

Of Jane

Graceful cries

I want to die

Pull it up

To take a breath

Brazen smiles

Entice the theft

All alone

For scrutiny

The little girls

Priority

Graceful cries

I want to die

Beauty emerges

The day is saved

Where she steps

Gold is paved

Delicate blushed cheeks

Contrast the cold

For perfection

She is the mold

Beauty cries

I want to die

Love is a lie

Its not about

The inside

Realization

Then a sigh

Beauty cries

I want to die

Time moves slow

Dragging

When you want to go

Time moves fast

Creating today

As the past

Beauty cries

I want to last

This is a great example of imagery that is very vivid! I liked the darkness and then beauty comes to the rescue. It is almost like a fairytale! Great work!
