Return To Yourself

To those who are confused with their lives.

Hey look at yourself

Are you the person you want to be?

Or the one that others want to?

The answer is very clear

You want to keep both sides happy

But boy, who can do that completely?

Don’t bother yourself

Just return to yourself

You may wonder what I’m saying

I tell you just to fix yourself

Do not care about other people’s foolishness

That’s the way life wants it

My friend, you can’t change people

All you can do is to worry about yourself

I’m not saying you ignore people

I’m just saying to improve yourself

What can you do to be a better person?

Do that to make peace in your heart

Stop hurting yourself and others

Humanity is the best religion itself

Wouldn’t you be upset

By the time you are in your 70s

Looking in the mirror at yourself?

Regretting the days you’ve easily lost

Regretting the golden opportunities you’ve lost

Regretting ignoring your milestones

Regretting not to reach your goals

While you are reading this poem my friend,

I am giving an advice, specially to myself

To fight for life and never give up

World doesn’t care if we are game-overed

So better fight to not regret it

When you feel your life is almost over.
