Time

Time

A Poem by Nima.Hope
"

who knows better?

"

Who cares about the passing of a second

More than a man who has rescued from a car accident?

Who notice the fast speed of clouds

Better than a documentary maker about nature?

Or who knows the worth of a month

Deeper than a mom losing her child

 at the last month?

Can you guess when human stops wasting time?

When he understands he has got cancer?

Or when he realizes his golden age is about to end?

Cancer nor age can stop us from wasting time

Some say you have not wasted the time

That you enjoyed wasting it

Who knows the worth of a minute

better than a man who has lost his train?

Who knows better?

It is so true. We do not value time till it is taken away from us. Time with a loved one, time to accomplish things we promised ourselves we would do, etc. So philosophical. I liked it. Lydi**

Thanks for your kind review. Human has to change, if he doesn't, surely the world does it.
Very thought provoking poem! We all waste time until we know we don’t have much time remaining. Seems to be the way of humans. I enjoyed the read, Nima! Temp

Can really relate to this poem Nima, there is nothing which focuses the mind so much as a consultant telling you., you have cancer. When you are unsure about your own future, time becomes so very precious. Fortunately my lengthy trestment was successful. Same when my mum was dying. So precious and memorable those moments. You have written here a poem with a universal theme. Lovely work.

Thank you, you too Nima.
I understand this poem and feel it, having several friends who are battling cancer...and may or may not have much time left.
Who knows better? They surely do...and I can only imagine and appreciate still having some good years left.
