The lost peace

Once, I was 

A man of routine

I could sit,with a bunch of books 

And study and read for hours

I didn't need Music, Poetry and movies

Those days,

I was following the society,

I was a follower, with peace

I guess that's the reason

Many people follow religion

Now,I am a wandering soul,

Full of feelings,

Forbidden dreams

And banned thoughts

Those days,

I could ignore,

I could be a jerk

But now I'm a considerate

Old fashioned lover boy

Where can I find it? 

The sole peace,

satisfactory and calm?

Do I have any place,

Rather than poetry

To express feelings on?

To show my tiredness

To show my nervous mind?

What is the point of expressing,

When no one replies?

What's the point of composing,

When people are deaf?

Am I the roaming wave,

that calmness,

 is the terminator

Of my existence?

Well, the fact is there will be times when no one replies, and that's just the way it is. Keep writing despite the silence. As long as you know you have done your utmost, that's what matters. The only alternative is to find a different audience.

Perhaps wondering about the past, living in the now.. writing, thinking, worrying, fearing - is how a truly human being works out life. Scolding and doubting self about reacting to life around you, might well be the way to find answers. I've yet to meet a saint.. few exist. Perhaps the recognition and acceptance of one's own faults and failings help calm the mind and heart? Your words are so finely laid and sincere.. that matters. To expose such feelings takes courage

I like this poem of pondering many things; you ask pertinent questions. I guess we all have to answer for ourselves the meanings behind all of that. I believe if are at peace with God, we achieve peace within. He is the source of spiritual peace. Enlightenment has many stages like knowledge has many stages.

No doesn't feel very humid... as we leave by the sea... It poured with rain all last week and part of this week as well... Now the sun is really hot... Loads of people (tourists) in the sea as we drove by this morning.
