Angel Of Light

Angel Of Light

A Poem by Nisha Ahmed
"

One year ago, I burnt my hand from a fire. My sister helped me through it, she put some sort of cream on it, sat with me, talked to me. That really helped. So I decided to write her a poem!

"
It will not stop
It will not go

This pain is deep
Its in my flesh

The screams ive cried
The tears ive shed

They were never heard
Nor felt...

Suddenly it all went away
An angel walked in my way

She gave me love
She gave me hope

She heard my screams
She led me to sleep

She felt my sorrows
And gave me hope for tomorrow

I'm certain till my last breath
I will dread forever

To be so pure
To be so honest

To be so innocent
To be so white

I can only wish to be that angel of light.
