Destruction

Destruction

A Story by Kay

You were burned in the apocalyptic oven of self destruction,
Not even I could save you
From the wrath of your own
Built up insecurities leaking
Onto your moral compass
Leading you astray.

those people you cant help, you try but they seem dead set on destroying their lives while arguing the latter, this brings a few people to mind, good job :)

Self destruction's a nasty beast, though it makes perfect sense to the one pursuing such actions. You conveyed the fruits of that path quite well with this piece. I'd make one suggestion alone, and that would be to split the first line just so:
You were burned in the apocalyptic
Oven of self destruction,

Flows a lot better that way. Whether you make the change or not I thought it made for a great read.
