Find Me

Find Me

A Story by Kay
"

A bit of a stream of consciousness

"
Find me, I am not where you are looking.
Don't ask for directions .
Search for me in the vast spaces of my mind. Be inclined to free yourself and expound the words onto the endless reams of paper in the mind. Maybe in the right corner, next to all that literature once read. Maybe you'll find me in the worldly puzzle section, slowly piecing together my life or searching the caches and dark places for the pieces that are missing. You'll find me here.

In an attempt to alleviate all my wrongs, consoling the gray matter of my thoughts. Impurities have adulterated me. You'll find me here. In the enigma that that has never seemed to ingretiate my whole being. I am intransigent. In the dark recesses of my mind I am inexorable. You'll find me here.

In the words that complete the meaning of me, the grave words of my thoughts. Sometimes they can only be expressed by my own invective. To myself, for myself. Who am I? I am the abyss my mind creates. Turn on the lights for me. Search for the real me. My mind is no impasse, nor is it hermetic. Open the doors to the plethora that brings the vast insurrection of my thoughts into the light. Search for me. There are no road maps or directions to me here.

You can only find me because you're connected to the lower level of my being. Your heart will guide you. You will find me here, you will. I feel it too. I cannot tell you where I am because I am lost. But I trust you, and you will find me somewhere in this benign,open, gregarious but sorrowful mind.

I promise you, I am stuck in the words.

It's a large universe but what are the odds.. that this writing is.. so very nearly (probably) unique? I feel like I've just watched someone knit mittens, scarf and hat from mental floss and while they were doing it, embroider some spread-spectrum fractal patterns that provide clues to the shapes and the various forms that embolden a mind to create such as this. It's really an incredible polysyllabic palette of lucid psychobabble.. all the more incredible because it's actually, to me, vividly filled with imagery of the abstract that are rendered upon a freshly poured concrete slap of solid vocabulary. Emotionally speaking, it's like being pelted with a barrage of pixie darts tipped in an overdose of cinnamon. I'm going to need a lot of coffee because I must re-read this until it soaks in. {gasping for air}
